The Council on Coronary Artery Disease aims to achieve the PHA’s objectives in the field of coronary artery disease and atherosclerosis, with the overall goal of improving the care of patients with coronary artery disease. Presently, it is in the process of developing local practice guidelines and recommendations in the management of angina and myocardial infarction.
