The Council on Cardiomyopathy and Cor Pulmonale contributes to the mission and objectives of the PHA through its efforts in the education and care of cardiomyopathy, cor pulmonale and pulmonary hypertension. The Council is in the process of producing a primer on diagnosis, treatment and management of cardiomyopathies. Its present thrust is adopting a local guideline for the diagnosis and management of pulmonary hypertension in the Philippine setting.
